Freedcamp is a powerful project management platform that helps teams stay organized and on track. Whether you are working on a personal project or collaborating with a team, Freedcamp has everything you need to get the job done. In this guide, we’ll show you how to sign up, set up users, create task lists, tasks, subtasks, share projects, set milestones, export projects, and import projects.
Signing Up for Freedcamp
To get started with Freedcamp, go to the Freedcamp website and click on the “Sign Up” button. Enter your email address and create a password, or sign up using your Google or Facebook account. Once you have signed up, you will be taken to the Freedcamp dashboard, where you can start creating your first project.
Setting Up Users
Freedcamp allows you to invite other users to join your projects, making it easy to collaborate with your team. To invite users, go to the “People” section of the Freedcamp dashboard and click on the “Invite” button. Enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite, and Freedcamp will send them an invitation to join your project.
Creating Task Lists and Tasks
To create a task list, go to the “Tasks” section of the Freedcamp dashboard and click on the “New Task List” button. Enter a name for your task list, and then start adding tasks. To create a task, click on the “New Task” button and enter a name for your task. You can also add a description, set a due date, and assign the task to a specific person.
Creating Subtasks
Subtasks are a great way to break down a larger task into smaller, more manageable pieces. To create a subtask, click on the “New Subtask” button, enter a name for your subtask, and assign it to a specific person. You can also add a description and set a due date for your subtask.
Sharing Projects
Freedcamp makes it easy to share your projects with others. To share a project, go to the “Settings” section of the Freedcamp dashboard and click on the “Collaborators” tab. From there, you can invite other users to join your project, or remove users who are no longer needed.
Setting Milestones
Milestones are a great way to keep track of your progress and make sure that you are on track to meet your goals. To set a milestone, go to the “Milestones” section of the Freedcamp dashboard and click on the “New Milestone” button. Enter a name for your milestone, set a due date, and add a description. You can also assign a specific person to be responsible for the milestone.
Exporting and Importing Projects
Freedcamp allows you to export your projects to a CSV or Excel file, making it easy to share your data with others or move your data to another platform. To export a project, go to the “Settings” section of the Freedcamp dashboard and click on the “Export” tab. From there, you can choose to export your data as a CSV or Excel file. To import a project, simply follow the same steps, but select the “Import” tab instead of the “Export” tab.
